Willy & The Poor Boys - playing the music of CCR

Description

WILLY and the POOR BOYS PLAYING THE MUSIC
OF
CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL
With the world hits of the legendary American band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) such as Proud Mary, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Bad Moon Rising, Down On The Corner, Who'll Stop The Rain, Rockin' All Over The World, Suzie Q, or Hey Tonight, WILLY and the POOR BOYS have earned an excellent reputation as the most authentic and successful CCR tribute band far beyond the borders of Germany since their founding in 2010. In the press, it reads: "It almost seems eerie when Tom Stalla starts to sing and copies John Fogerty's voice so authentically that one could believe the Californian was personally on stage." (Die Rheinpfalz)
"Anyone who loves CCR's music should not miss this show. After John Fogerty's live performances, WILLY and the POOR BOYS are the next best thing." (Freelance music journalist)
…"The deserved reward at the end of the concert for the great effort and the absolute highlight of the event series was the enthusiastic applause from the audience." (Organizer of a park open air in Ludwigshafen)
"WILLY and the POOR BOYS must really be experienced live! Thank you guys for the great musical enjoyment" (www.radio-leuchtturm.de)
"Anyone who thought that the hoarse timbre of CCR singer John Fogerty was unimitable was proven wrong by Tom Stalla. He is damn close to the original, standing in the spotlight on stage. Guitar and blues harp were part of the overall package just like the checkered cotton shirt and hairstyle…. The enthusiasm is almost boundless. WILLY and the POOR BOYS enchant their audience with their authentic CCR show" … (Mannheimer Morgen)
"What the five guys delivered in CCR covers was top-notch ... Cheers erupted from the first note and the visitors began to dance ..." (Lampertheimer Zeitung)
