Description

This special exhibition invites visitors to discover the wild animals of the Appenzellerland and the hunting tradition from a new perspective. Interactive stations include recognizing animal sounds, tactile boxes, tracking animal footprints, and viewing around 40 animal exhibits. Films provide insights into the year-round tasks of hunters, such as game management, deer rescue, and a day on the hunt. The exhibition celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Patentjägerverein Appenzell Ausserrhoden, emphasizing the ongoing relevance of hunting.
