Course content: In four hours, we combine hunting knowledge with practical territory work: • Interesting facts about stoats and weasels and their habitat requirements

• Learning about suitable conservation measures for weasels in cultural landscapes
• Guidance and practical construction of a durable weasel burrow with a breeding chamber
• Insights into various methods for detecting weasels
• Tips for implementing habitat enhancements in the hunting area. From the course directly into the territory: Habitat enhancement is an important part of modern hunting. With simple, targeted measures, hunters can help ensure that weasels find suitable habitats and safe breeding sites in our cultural landscape. In the practical course, you will gain the necessary knowledge and practical tools to actively participate later in your own territory: planning a weasel burrow, assessing suitable locations, coordinating conservation measures with agriculture, and monitoring their success. The workshop is especially aimed at hunting students who want to deepen their knowledge of native wildlife and gain practical experience in habitat enhancement.
