Topics such as genetic impoverishment and societal attitudes towards the lynx are explained. The excursion invites you to deepen your knowledge, recognize connections, and engage with the challenges surrounding the lynx in a nuanced way.

On the occasion of the International Lynx Day, Jura Park Aargau and WWF Aargau invite you to an exciting excursion. Embark on a trek through the forests of Jura Park Aargau and immerse yourself in the mysterious world of Europe's largest wildcat. Learn how the lynx lives, what tracks it leaves, and why its protection is more important than ever today. The excursion is guided by Manuela Wiederkehr, Jura Park landscape guide, and Kevin Ischi, WWF Aargau. Together, they provide well-founded knowledge, exciting insights, and new perspectives on an animal that mostly lives in hiding – yet reveals a lot about the state of our nature.
