Description
Nature | Adventure | Magic "Hiding a treasure, that would be something," thinks Ida. "Finding a treasure, that would be something," thinks Jakub and quickly draws a treasure map to set out on the search. Thus, the play takes children deeper into a wilderness where animals speak, mountains laugh, trees hang their heads, and fog is a good listener. The author Andri Beyeler sends his two main characters on a tactile journey with nature: Ida follows her gut feeling, while Jakub takes things as they come. This wondrous journey is staged with puppet play and live camera. The camera brings out the magical in the everyday: a small puddle becomes the sea when zoomed in close enough; the furrows left by a plastic rake in the sandbox turn into a plowed field, and a colorful bucket appears as a sunset. The piece is suitable for children aged 5 and up and from the second kindergarten level. Due to its remarkable craftsmanship, which playfully offers insights into filmmaking, it is also very interesting for older children. In any case, it offers an entertaining hour for the whole family. And not least, thanks to its strong visual implementation, the play is accessible to people who understand little (Swiss) German.
