How truly divided is Switzerland?

Description

Much is spoken about societal and political polarization; polarization is quickly diagnosed. Scientifically, the question is more complex: How strong is it actually in Switzerland? Where do the conflict lines run – and what holds a society together when its members do not have to agree politically?
The event series "Unity – instead of Polarization" by the Forum for University and Society addresses these questions over three Saturday mornings. The first morning begins with diagnosis: What can be measured at all – and what do we know about Switzerland? Free admission, information, and registration: www. forum. unibe. ch/zusammenhalt
