Photographic reports by Paul Senn in the Conches Valley in the 1930s. 90 years ago, Paul Senn, one of the pioneers of Swiss photojournalism, visited the Conches Valley several times. His photos, displayed at the 'Station Ritz', are considered unique visual testimonies of life in the Upper Valais in the 1930s. Funded by: Canton of Valais; Interest Group of Second Home Owners Goms; Municipality of Conches; Station Ritz; Office for Photography History, Bern; OTAG, Goms.
Curator: Martin Brauen. Station Ritz, Niederwald (in the former train station building), open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
from 21.12.2025 to November 2026. If the bistro is closed, please use the street entrance.
Also on the 1st floor: permanent exhibition on the hotelier pioneer César Ritz and his wife Marie-Louise Ritz.
