What happens when four renowned musicians from Switzerland meet and philosophize about their favorite music?
– That's right, soon the name U2 will come up! – And as the conversation continues, the
idea arises: to play U2 themselves, with great love and respect for the original and at the same time with the
freedom to put their own stamp on U2. WE2 – THE U2 Tribute was born!
We all know them, these great songs like Vertigo, Where the Streets Have No Name, Beautiful Day, I Still
Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, With or Without You, Sunday, Bloody Sunday, etc. It’s hard to choose from a
selection, but all titles are united by the fact that everyone knows and loves them. And that’s what WE2 is about:
playing these wonderful titles with great musical love and quality, combined with a fantastic light show as a tribute act to pay respect and create a great live evening, after which the audience and band are soaked in sweat and happy.
This challenging task is undertaken by the fantastic singer Ad-Rian, the virtuoso guitar whirlwind Nino Lentini, and the super groovy timekeepers Chrizzy Fischer (Myron, Ewigi Liebi Musical) and Roli Elmer, a fantastic live band. And they do it well. Very, very well!
