Description

Between departure and arrival, uprooting and the search for a life in dignity: TRËI sings in seventeen languages songs of the wanderers and displaced persons. In vocal-instrumental winter journeys from Hildegard von Bingen to Âşık Veysel to Arvo Pärt, the trio reflects on migration as one of the primal motives of human history and on the injustice that repeatedly and openly occurs.
"We Walk Each Other Home" laments the unbearable simultaneity of uprooting and hope and asks the question: Where is our home? Participants and additional information:
