With the exhibition, the Napoleon Museum senses the changes around the lake. It consciously follows in the footsteps of the technology-obsessed monarch and uses the most modern photographic medium of the time: photography. The exhibition offers visitors an impressive view into the world of the late 19th century. The photographs on the walls evoke a desire for more – a wealth of additional impressions is revealed through six digital screens, deepening the view of Thurgau, Constance, and Lake Constance as seen by the last Emperor of France, Napoleon III.
