Hiking group for people with dementia

Description

Caregivers are welcome but may also use this time otherwise. The group is led by two professionals and accompanied by volunteers. The hike always includes a picnic break or a visit to a restaurant.

Dates: 08.01. / 12.02. / 12.03. / 09.04. / 07.05. / 11.06. / 30.07. / 13.08. / 10.09. / 08.10. / 12.11. / 10.12.2026
Individual hikes can also be completed.

Time: 13:45 to a maximum of 17:00

Meeting point: Weinfelden train station, at the kiosk

Cost: Participation is free of charge. Participants pay for their own consumptions and transport costs.

Equipment: Good footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. The hike takes place in all weather conditions.

General Information

The hiking group for people with dementia takes place once a month in Weinfelden. Participants take light walks with breaks for a picnic or restaurant visit. Participation is free, registration is required.
