Wandelkonzert

Description

Listen to art, see music. The Moser Building, opened in 1910, forms the historic core of the Kunsthaus Zürich. Today, it houses significant artworks from eight centuries — from medieval icons to modern classics and internationally renowned paintings and sculptures, e.g., by Monet, van Gogh, Munch, Picasso, Warhol — with the specific selection varying depending on the current exhibition. During the Wandelkonzert at Kunsthaus Zürich, our musicians perform in changing formations across various rooms in the Moser Building. The musical program reflects the visual expression of the displayed works and echoes it musically. The audience moves freely outside regular opening hours between the exhibition rooms during the Wandelkonzert. They traverse through different eras, experiencing a wonderful and unique connection between music and art that will resonate long after. Concert program announced by ensemble:
Zürcher Kammerorchester Conducted by:
Simon Wiener (Violin and Conductor)
