HAHA Humor as an Artistic Strategy: The Dogo Residency as Guest in the Sidecar
with: Alice Köppel, Dana Ferrari, Lily Pellaud, Lino Stirnimann and Thom Driver
Humor connects, exposes and questions. It can highlight grievances, reverse power relations and playfully challenge social norms. Humor is a means of subversive engagement with existing structures and at the same time creates moments of collective cheerfulness and relief – especially in challenging times.
For the year 2026, the Dogo Residency invited eleven cultural creators to engage with current artistic questions under the thematic focus HAHA — Humor as an Artistic Strategy. The works created during the residency will be presented to the public twice in cooperation with the Kunst(Zeug)Haus Rapperswil-Jona in the event format Sidecar. General Information

The event takes place at the Kunst(Zeug)Haus in Rapperswil SG and thematizes humor as an artistic strategy. Within the framework of the Dogo Residency, eleven cultural creators present their works that question social norms and highlight grievances.
