Description
What happens when a classical musician arranges hits from the 60s for his own chamber ensemble? Extremely lovingly composed pieces, in which the listener recognizes both the earworms of pop music and great classical music! For example, one of the works begins with Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, then switches to "somebody to love" by Queen, and ends by returning to Tchaikovsky. A true crossover project that truly deserves its name. And the success confirms the composer, Dariusz Zboch, and his ensemble. His latest work "VIVALDIANA" is a virtuosic 4-movement piano concerto based on Vivaldi's Four Seasons, set in jazz, swing, tango, and Bossa Nova. The Silesian Chamber Soloists, one of the most successful string ensembles in Europe, collaborated with prominent artists such as Krzysztof Penderecki, Yehudi Menuhin, Christoph Eschenbach, Pinchas Zuckerman, Maxim Vengerov, Mstislav Rostropovich, and the German pianist and conductor Christoph Soldan. The work will be performed together with him. Leonard Bernstein commented on Christoph Soldan after a joint tour: "I am impressed by the spiritual greatness of this young musician."
