Notos Quartett - Piano Quartet

Description

Since its founding in 2007 in Berlin, the Notos Quartet has dedicated itself to rediscovering forgotten piano quartet works. Artistically shaped by members of the Mandelring and Guarneri Quartets and through studies with Günter Pichler in Madrid, the ensemble performs internationally, including at Wigmore Hall London and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Performances at renowned festivals such as the Rheingau Music Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival highlight its significance. With the 'Notos Chamber Music Academy,' the four musicians also engage in nurturing musical talent. The quartet has received multiple awards for its work, including the ECHO Klassik in 2017.
