Description
Laurent Albrecht Breuninger received the 2nd prize at the renowned Brussels Queen Elisabeth Competition in 1997 - an achievement that no German violinist has yet matched. He had previously won awards at competitions including in 1992 in Prague and Vienna, as well as in 1995 in Berlin and Montreal. Encounters with Max Rostal and Vladimir Spivakov led to his decision to become a violinist.
Sibylle Mahni studied with Marie-Luise Neunecker (Frankfurt) and achieved great success in competitions, including at the International ARD Music Competition in Munich. She subsequently played as a solo hornist in the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra. Since 2021, she has held a professorship for horn at the renowned Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin.
The pianist Rinko Hama, born in Tokyo, is performing as a solo artist, as a soloist with orchestra, and as a chamber musician at renowned festivals such as the Schwetzingen Festival and the Mosel Festival Weeks. The multiple award-winning international competition laureate performs, among others, with the Württemberg Philharmonic, Northwest German Philharmonic, Craiova Philharmonic, Porto National Orchestra, Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra Leipzig, and the Pilsen Radio Symphony Orchestra.
