Presented by the young and brilliant DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER under the direction of Prof. Igor Malinovsky, promising musicians are on stage.
Prof. Igor Malinovsky is concertmaster and professor of violin at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. The recipient of many international awards founded the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER in 2013.
With an extensive repertoire from Baroque to modern, the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER performs in various ensembles from chamber to large instrumental orchestra. The ensemble specializes in specially arranged transcriptions, regularly performing works originally composed for symphony orchestra and excerpts from operas in soloist arrangements. Since 2013, the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER has hosted its own year-round concert series "Galakonzerte im Dresdner Zwinger," during which it has already performed over a thousand concerts.
