They are three, but it feels as if an entire tribe of wild riders is taking us on a journey through the Mongolian steppe, across the Balkan region, with violins on their backs and drums in their luggage. «Violons Barbares» is the meeting of three musicians from different origins and cultures: one Mongolian, one Bulgarian, and one French. Their music radiates a unique, powerful cohesion and exuberant enthusiasm. With their latest work «Monsters And Fantastic Creatures», the three exceptional musicians immerse their audience in a world inspired by folk beliefs, full of demons, spirits, and mythical creatures. The trio creates a mysterious, hypnotic universe full of archaic creatures – some are frightening, others make you dream and leave you enchanted. «Violons Barbares» takes us on a captivating journey into imaginary worlds – to a boundless, wild, and inspiring concert! Or as Pädu once said in the foreword to his last festival: «When I first saw the three musicians in a video, it almost knocked my shoes off, and I immediately felt that this trio must be on stage at the END 16!» Now this fabulous world music band is finally returning to the province, to the stage of the most beautiful club on the edge of the Alps.
