Video tour «Many Voices – One World»

Description

For one year, the museum invited a group of Burgdorf residents to contribute their perspectives to the museum's permanent exhibition «Wunderkammern». The seven people were born and raised or moved to Burgdorf. They work in administration, are pursuing doctorates, or are retired. They regularly attend cultural events or have never been to the museum. They speak Bernese German, Persian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.

They engaged intensively with the themes of the Wunderkammern «Power», «Color», «Origin», «Travel» and recorded their thoughts in short videos. On the «Wonder Tour» through the museum, visitors discover these videos at five stations. Each station is tailored to the corresponding Wunderkammer and allows visitors to view the museum objects with new eyes. How do you wonder? • The video tour is free and included in the museum admission. You will receive the associated Wonder Pass at the reception or at Station 1 at the museum entrance.
• We recommend the tour for adults and children from 12 years old accompanied by adults.
• We recommend doing the video tour in pairs or alone. Two headphones are available per station. Larger groups can watch the video tour on their own smartphones.
• The video tour is only partially wheelchair accessible. The inaccessible stations (1, 2, and 5) can be accessed via smartphone.
