Although they were contemporaries, there is no record of their meeting – however, Jean Sibelius and Edward Elgar will meet at the Rudolfinum. Under the direction of conductor and resident composer Thomas Adès, who will also present his composition Märchentänze. He will be assisted by the concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic, Jiří Vodička.
