Venice is memory. A research station in the midst of the sunken lagoon city opens its doors to visitors for the first time. Before the opening of the AI-powered station, the artificial intelligence Cyb takes the influencer and climate activist Meg and journalist Bruno on an exclusive tour into the depths. "We travel into a past era – into the time of great coastal cities." What begins as a spectacular dive into a dreamlike underwater world turns into a disturbing journey into the suppressed reality of climate change. Between sunken palaces and digital memories, an uncomfortable question arises: What are we willing to accept – and what must we suppress to continue living? With original footage from an underwater robot of GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre, live performance, and projections, an immersive journey is created. A dive into a possible future.
