A PUNK EVENING IN THE BEAR HALL COULDN'T BE MORE ARCHAIC! The two bands, who also know each other privately and have grown up with MOKKA, celebrate an energetic evening for all who love punk and have grown up with these two bands. CAFE BAR MOKKA is already very much looking forward to this legendary evening! URISTIER It's not New York, not London, not Tokyo. The story of URISTIER begins in 1993 in Schwanden near Sigriswil, at the bus terminus at "Cherplatz". Besides cows, agricultural machinery, shooting ranges, and village clubs, cheese sharing, and ski lifts. The track record of URISTIER so far: 16 records, over 100 original songs, over 160 concerts, a book, a DVD. URISTIER play Toiletcore: They blend their musical influences from electric guitar music with dialect lyrics about love, frustration, grief, chimney sweeps, or rubber boats. Over the years, this has led to the naive, primitive, and ironic independence of URISTIER's "dialect punk rock," which can only flourish at Cherplatz Schwanden-Sagi: Loud! Wild! Awesome! LINE-UP: AVAREL: DRÖM | JÖRG: GUITAR AND VOCALS | URS: GUITAR | ROLF: BASS TIGHT FINKS I am Jamous T. B. and damn nervous!” With this sentence, the blonde spiked-head at the guitar greeted the audience at the first concert in Mokka Thun. And this, although the Finks were told by the MC no more than 15 minutes earlier that they should not show nervousness on stage… “Oh God! That’s it then,” thought Avarel behind the drums, even before a single note was played, and then became nervous himself.
The evening was doomed to fail. A quick 1,2,3,4, wherever it came from, offered itself as a lifeboat for all involved. And for over 30 years, the TIGHT FINKS have occasionally thrown this miraculous sequence of numbers at people at home and abroad like a bait into the shark tank.
