THE CHERPLATZ SCHWANDEN HEROES ARE BACK DOWNTOWN. It's not New York, not London, not Tokyo. The story of URISTIER began in 1993 in Schwanden near Sigriswil, at the bus terminal at "Cherplatz". Next to cows, agricultural machinery, shooting houses, and village clubs, cheese distribution, and ski lifts. The current record of URISTIER: 16 albums, over 100 original songs, more than 160 concerts, a book, a DVD. URISTIER plays Toiletcore: they blend their musical influences of electric guitar music with dialect lyrics about love, frustration, sadness, chimney sweeps, or rubber boats. Over the years, this has led to the naive, primitive, and ironic independence of URISTIER's "dialect punk rock," which can only thrive at Cherplatz Schwanden-Sagi: Loud! Wild! Awesome!
