This beginner-friendly course explores the sun, planets, and celestial bodies, providing clear answers to questions about our solar system and the universe. Participants will learn how the sun works, how planets and Earth formed, and what the world looks like on other planets. When weather permits, attendees can observe celestial neighbors through a telescope. The course is led by physicist Uwe Dose, a long-time employee in Swiss space industry, and is part of a series with another astronomy workshop scheduled for January 2027.
