After the success of the big tour "HAI DAI MAU", which has already made more than 100,000 people laugh in sold-out venues, the popular comedian will start his new program in autumn 2025: "Wok-Life-Balance". Tutty Tran's stories about his Vietnamese father with a lovable accent are already legendary. Phrases like "Kein Flei?" or "HAI DAI MAU" flood social networks and have also achieved cult status beyond that. Now, "Germany's most famous rice citizen" is taking it a step further: the master of culture clash comedy mercilessly targets clichés in his new program — whether about himself, the German-Vietnamese culture, or his friends with and without migration backgrounds: no one is safe from him. Not even his Saxon girlfriend. This is lived comedy inclusion! Humor is for Tutty Tran the perfect method to master the big and small challenges of everyday life: "For me, a fulfilled and relaxed life is a mixture of different ingredients. And just like wok tossing, it's not so easy to find the right balance," he explains. "I want to face the perceived madness of life with a broad grin. Since 2017, the German-Vietnamese Tutty Tran has been shaking up the German-speaking comedy scene. On social media, the Berliner regularly follows more than two million fans. The award-winning stand-up comedian is a welcome guest on TV, e.g., in "The Best Comedians of Germany" (SAT.1) or the "NDR Talk Show". In 2023, he published his first book "Wenn nicht jetzt, wan tan? A Tolerance Primer for Everyone" and made it onto the SPIEGEL bestseller list. In the same year, he hosted his own format "Jokah & Tutty" on Amazon Freevee, where he played various roles alongside, among others, Oliver Korritke, Janine Kunze, and Christian Tramitz in ten episodes. Until summer 2025, he will be on nearly sold-out tour with his second solo program HAI DAI MAU across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
