Description

This thrilling psychological thriller based on the famous novel by Colleen Hoover tells the story of successful writer Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) and aspiring author Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson). Lowen is offered the chance to complete Verity's books as an anonymous author, so she temporarily moves to the remote Crawford family estate. During her stay, she discovers a manuscript that appears to be Verity's secret autobiographical notes – and they are quite disturbing. They contain dark confessions about her husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett). Lowen gradually begins to lose track of what is reality and what is just a well-crafted game – and at the same time, she finds herself dangerously drawn to it all.
