Triggerfinger Since their last album (2017), it has been quiet around Triggerfinger for a long time. In autumn 2025, the band from Antwerp released their first new song: "Stars" was received positively by both old and new fans alike. With a 25-day tour, the band returned to international live stages – most concerts were sold out. While "Stars" still showed a clear connection to their previous repertoire, the second single "Come Clean" (January 2026) already hints at a change in the band's musical DNA. In collaboration with Mitchell Froom, an album was created where Ruben and Mario step out of their comfort zone, explore new ways of composing, and venture into the unknown. The result shows: Triggerfinger is among the few European rock bands that withstand trends and hypes – and they are stronger than ever. The long-awaited album will be released in September 2026. It is the first official work without Monsieur Paul – the former bassist of the band, who tragically passed away in 2025. Live, Geoffrey Burton now takes over the bass. He is considered a brilliant musician and has already played with Grace Jones, Iggy Pop, and many others. Like Paul, Geoffrey was originally a guitarist and has developed a very own approach to the bass.
