TREK® Matterhorn Ultraks

Description

Every summer, at the foot of the Matterhorn, Zermatt plays host to the TREK® Matterhorn Ultraks, one of Switzerland's not-to-be-missed trail events. A variety of routes, from extreme challenges to accessible discoveries, offer everyone a unique experience in a grandiose setting. The different courses :
EXTREME - 26 km / +3'066 m: technical and challenging route, part of the Skyrunner World Series.
SKY - 49 km / +3'600 m: a demanding route over the Gornergrat.
MOUNTAIN - 32 km / +2'000 m: a varied alpine route over the Gorner suspension bridge.
RELAY by Loyco - 32 km / +2'000 m: Three-person relay race.
ACTIVE - 19 km / +1'150 m: an ideal introduction to trail running while enjoying the Zermatt landscape.
VERTINIGHT - 4.9 km / +691 m: night climb to Sunnegga, festive atmosphere guaranteed. Children's races :
Wolli - ~ 900 m / +/- 17 m.
Superwolli - ~ 2.6 km / +/- 151 m.

General Information

The TREK® Matterhorn Ultraks takes place every summer in Zermatt, Switzerland, at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn. Participants can choose from multiple routes, catering to both extreme athletes and beginners, making it a unique event for all trail running enthusiasts.
