A performance about sustainability, climate change, and self-determined action. For youth aged 11 and up. Cast: Marcela Ruiz Quintero and Daniel Mathéus. Leandro Kees, concept and direction. Produced by performing:group and tanzhaus nrw. How many plastic cups does one consume over a lifetime? Two performers explore the story of our strange evolution and dig through the complexity of the topic of 'ecological intelligence.' Along their journey, they encounter ever new questions and a constantly growing mountain of waste. With the help of animated drawings, dance, and sound collages, TRASHEDY offers an unfiltered, humorous look at our freedom of choice and personal consumption behavior. Because everything we do has an impact. Somewhere. Awarded the expert jury prize and the youth jury audience award at the Westwind Festival 2013. Selected for the Augenblick mal! Festival 2015. Duration: 50 minutes. School classes: €4 per person (with workshop: €8 per person). Recommendation: Lower and middle school.
