Robert Schumann, composer and writer, born 1810 in Zwickau, died 1856 in the Bonn-Endenich mental hospital. 46 years of life. What was it like inside this person, how did he perceive the world? What speaks from his texts and his music? What happens when his music materializes in the form of figures on stage? A play with identities, hints of another self, encounters with imaginary beings, ghostly figures, and doppelgängers. From a Hammond organ M3, texts from Schumann's diary, figures, and automata, a kaleidoscope of interwoven motifs emerges, independently and complementing each other, forming a harmony.
