Can we resist the hustle of our constantly spinning planet? And why this hustle in our existence? Are we not just grains of sand carried away in the infinity of space (raum) and time (zeit)? A constellation of white spheres spins, hangs, and rolls, floating freely like planetary systems in the universe. Sand creates fleeting comet trails, imprints, and landscapes. In the performance RAUM · ZEIT, dancer Tobias Piero Dohm explores the expressive potential of bodies and objects in interaction with matter. Crazy juggling, new circus, and installations combine with a live soundscape to make visible the invisible dynamics of temporal and spatial relationships. A meditative search for balance amidst a space full of movement. Accompanied by a multilayered soundscape of modular synthesizers, the creators invite the audience to pause, perceive, marvel, and experience space as an open dialogue between body, space, time, object, material, and sound. It is a call for a momentary escape from the hustle of everyday life.
