Third Space

Description

With "Third Space," the Biel ensemble Bruit presents a new program in the spirit of Anthony Braxton's Creative Music. Composition, improvisation, and interpretation meet on equal footing and are continually renegotiated through interaction. In addition to new works by composers Cathy van Eck and Patricia Bosshard, a previously unpublished overlay of two compositions by Braxton is performed, as well as Luc Ferraris' rarely performed "Tautologos III."
