Pgi Valposchiavo presents a series of public meetings titled "Thematic Valley. Reflections on Life Forms in Valposchiavo" for autumn 2026. The series will consist of four events scheduled for Saturday, October 24 (Poschiavo Casa Torre), Saturday, October 31 (Polo Poschiavo), Saturday, November 7 (Poschiavo Casa Torre), and Saturday, November 14, 2026 (Brusio Casa Besta), led by Patrick A. Huhn. During the meetings, which will also feature guests and speakers from various fields, key issues affecting valley life will be highlighted: what it means today to inhabit an alpine space; how work and production forms are changing; how a community constructs its own narrative and measures the relationship between rootedness and openness, tradition and renewal, vision and public life. The second meeting is titled "What is the value of the local? Food, brands, and territorial development" and will address the local character of a product not only as a purely geographical property but also as an economic, cultural, and regulatory construction that requires rules, organizations, agreements, and trust. The guest of the event is Cassiano Luminati.
