Theatre - Faire paysan - Casino Théâtre de Rolle

Description

Inspired by the book *Faire paysan* by Blaise Hofmann, the show gives voice to those who still practice "the oldest profession in the world." Part field report, testimonials, and personal reflection, the text sheds light on the profound transformations experienced by the Swiss farming world over the past sixty years. This theatrical adaptation contrasts the concrete realities of agricultural work with the expectations of an urban world seeking a new relationship with nature. Faithful to the author's gesture, son and grandson of farmers, it opens paths to reconciliation, calls for nuance, and invites dialogue between these two realities.
