Theater im Gewölbe: Das Schloss

Description

A stranger comes to a village. He wants to work. He wants to belong. So far, so uncomplicated, if it weren't for the castle, which acts contradictorily, controls the villagers, and ensures that responsibilities disappear into the snow.
Eagerly, the stranger tries to gain access to the mysterious castle administration. Who sets the rules in the castle? Will the stranger fail the system's rules? Theater im Gewölbe brings Kafka's "The Castle," one of the most significant texts of modern literature, to the stage of the Reithalle. Oppressive, absurd, and at the same time surprisingly funny.
