One morning, Mr. Badger wakes up in a terribly bad mood. Nevertheless, he goes for his morning walk. Along the way, he scares off all the forest animals he meets. Although his grumpy mood improves throughout the day, now all the other animals want nothing to do with him. The stag even slams the door in his face. Finally, he has a brilliant idea: he invites all the forest animals to a bad mood party to apologize. As everyone looks so grim at the party, they forget their bad moods and have a great time. So, the day ends with a happy ending. The play "Mr. Badger Throws a Party" tells the touching and cheerful story about the effects of one's own feelings on others – and how gloom can turn into cheerfulness.
