Theater Workshop U13

Description

The course teaches the creation of a play. Together, roles, locations, and themes are developed, and scenes are worked on. In conclusion, two performances take place at the Theaterhaus Thurgau with the support of theater technology. While acting, children explore the effects of different body postures, voice and speech, facial expressions, and gestures through various theater games. Targeted exercises promote concentration and relaxation skills. The physical exercises necessary for acting also enhance mobility, coordination, and balance. With fun and without pressure, performing in front of others becomes a natural part of rehearsals. Reserved children can benefit from this, and daredevils learn that acting only works together and that giving and taking in turn also brings joy. To get to know and try out, the three Theater Researcher Afternoons on Wednesday, September 16, 23, and/or 30, 2026, are recommended.
