"THE REPEATLES are the original among Bern's cover bands. They play "strictly Sixties" - and have been doing so for 25 years. And because rock’n’roll, rhythm and blues, and beat were once risky music, the Repeatles are not afraid either. Instead of simply copying the originals by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks & Co., they take risks. That's why every Repeatles gig is different. Two guitars, a bass, a drum set, and four voices: when the Repeatles perform live without a safety net, the wild Sixties come alive again.
STÖFFU KOHLI
Christoph "Stöffu" Kohli first came into contact with The Beatles in 1964 during an England trip with his school choir. Since then, he has never been able to get away from them. Even though the left-handed bassist and singer later played with Span Hippierock and with Polos SchmetterDing, which blasted the Chilbis, The Beatles were always there. With the Repeatles, he is the eye-catcher and the ballad king.
SAM MUMENTHALER
Sam is a beat enthusiast and a walking rock encyclopedia. He has written numerous books on Swiss pop history and also works as a drummer and backing vocalist. You can still hear him today, as he started in the lively eighties as a drummer for Züri West and Phon Roll. But Sam doesn't take things too seriously either. Recently, he wrote a book about jazz.
BENJAMIN GLAUS
Benjamin started out like Housi as a street musician. As a teenager, he performed classics by Elvis, Carl Perkins, and other rockabilly stars in Bern's arcades. But even the wild Benjamin fell in love with the melodies of The Beatles. Today, Benjamin is active with his own trio Skinny Jim Tennessee or solo as One Moe Joe. He plays guitar for the Repeatles and is responsible for the high vocals.
MARC LANDOLF
Marc is the youngest and newest member of the Repeatles. Despite his young age, he already brings a lot of rock’n’roll experience. In his early youth, he emulated the great 60s idols with his band The Rockin’ Beats. Through numerous projects in various styles, he developed into a versatile and virtuosic guitarist. With the Repeatles, Marc brings fresh energy and simultaneously delivers the authentic sound of the Sixties."
