THE ONES WE LOVE Classic - DEAD POETS SOCIETY

Description

The new literature teacher John Keating brings fresh air to the traditional boarding school Welton in 1959 and inspires his otherwise disciplined students through his unorthodox teaching of poetry to think freely. At night, they meet for readings in an old cave. The boy Neil discovers his love for acting. When his strict father finds out, he takes Neil out of school. Deprived of his dreams, Neil commits suicide. Keating is held responsible and expelled from the school. When he picks up his books, his students express their gratitude for his humanity through collective refusal. Language: English
