The Mary Wallopers
Formed in Dundalk, The Mary Wallopers gained recognition through viral livestreams during the pandemic and have become one of the most dynamic live bands in the Irish music scene – equally a traditional ballad group and a raucous, anti-authoritarian punk band. Their self-titled debut album from 2022 and "Irish Rock N Roll" from 2023 established them as worthy successors to The Pogues and The Dubliners, while also reaching an audience that extends far beyond the usual folk boundaries. The new single "Crowns Of England" is released ahead of their third album "Paddywhackery," which will be released on 18. September 2026 via BC Records and produced by James Skelly of The Coral. The album coincides with their biggest headlining tour to date.
