Join us for an insightful talk with Alessia Cesarini, a researcher at Empa and co-founder of Gota Energy, as she shares her groundbreaking work on transforming fermentation-derived alcohol into a petrol-compatible fuel. Her research, rooted in her engineering PhD at ETH and Empa, has led to a process that produces a high-octane, sustainable fuel that can be used with existing engines and infrastructure. Recognized with the Empa Entrepreneur Fellowship and the Grand Prix Möbius Suisse, her startup is now advancing at the Ticino Technopole.
