Description

Premiere on November 4, 2017, at the Palace Theatre. Harry Douglas, a philandering American ambassador in Great Britain, tells his wife Lois that he is going to Scotland for the weekend to play golf. Lois, on the other hand, informs Harry that she will be at a spa for the weekend and that their daughter Debbie is going to visit a friend. However, Harry secretly returns to the empty house, as he has planned a romantic rendezvous with the attractive neighbor Marianne. This rendezvous is quite spicy, as they are about to fulfill their sexual fantasies: she as a French maid, he as Tarzan. Debbie returns with her boyfriend Joe, thinking they will have the whole house to themselves. Meanwhile, the embassy faces a bomb threat, and Harry's secretary Faye Baker and Captain South from the U.S. Marine Corps arrive at the ambassador's residence to set up a crisis center. Captain South has the grounds guarded by a unit of marines, so no one can leave. Harry overhears Debbie talking to someone in her room and asks who it is. After a moment's hesitation, Debbie comes up with a saving idea and claims it is her friend Josephine. From that moment on, Joe spends a considerable part of the play disguised as a girl – whom the passionate Harry falls madly in love with. Captain South believes he is on the trail of a mad terrorist, and the clumsy and slightly dim-witted Faye nearly causes the destruction of Great Britain. How will it end? Will Lois return with her own ulterior motive? And what about the servant Perkins, will he also find love? The beloved and experienced farce author Michael Parker promises a surprising ending and plenty of comedic situations.
