Last year, the legendary Kruger Brothers performed at our festival for the first time. They found the perfect setting in the chamber music hall in Vitznau. The brothers Jens and Uwe Krüger, who have lived in Wilkesboro (North Carolina) for over 20 years and are already stars in the bluegrass and blues scene in the USA, decided that they definitely want to come back to us in the autumn. Of course, not immediately like in 2025. This time they have the Bernese Kaleidoscope String Quartet with them, and accordingly, the repertoire will be adjusted. We are very pleased to welcome these musicians, who definitely deserve the world-class label, back to us and are convinced that the concert will also be a highlight of the festival in 2026. Apéro & Late Night in the foyer of the chamber music hall with: MINDECI & GOSSWEILER: Sven Angelo Mindeci (accordion) and Peter Gossweiler (double bass) play music that touches the heart and soul and notably contains a lot of Italianità! In their program “Giardino del Sud,” the two, who have been musical companions and friends for 20 years, take the audience on a journey through the sound worlds of Italy. With passion, they virtuously interpret a wide range of melodies – from traditional folk music to film music to heartfelt canzoni.
