Can we recognize the moment when we should not cross a boundary, agree, or look away?
What happens when censorship becomes part of artistic creation? When do survival strategies begin to support exactly the system they were originally meant to endure or overcome?
Each performance opens a space where we examine more closely the forces that shape artistic creation. Together, we ask how censorship infiltrates our decisions, gestures, and relationships. What changes when we cross a boundary and are asked to follow other rules? What helps us stay true to our own art, the art of others, and the values we want to stand for?
Rebel-IST-hah! has invited three artists to enter this space together – to meet, speak, remain silent, act, and manifest through these questions.

General Information

The premiere takes place at Ballhaus Ost in Berlin and invites the audience to reflect on the impact of censorship on art and relationships. Three artists explore together with viewers how boundaries can be crossed and which values are at the forefront.
