Description

HOUSE OF CARDS - EUROPE TOUR 2026 Powerful riffs, intense breakdowns, and catchy melodies await you on Monday, 05. October 2026 at Komplex 457 in Zurich: The Amity Affliction brings their House Of Cards tour to Switzerland – accompanied by special guests Silent Planet, Varials, and Orthodox. Since their founding in Brisbane, The Amity Affliction has developed into one of the most influential bands in international metalcore. Their music is marked by deeply personal lyrics that unflinchingly address themes such as loss, mental health, grief, and hope. This uncompromising emotional openness has earned the band a loyal and engaged fanbase worldwide. With the breakthrough album Chasing Ghosts (2012), which debuted at number one on the Australian charts, it was clear that The Amity Affliction was much more than a hidden gem. Later releases such as Let The Ocean Take Me, Everyone Loves You…Once You Leave Them, and most recently Not Without My Ghosts solidified their status as one of the most important voices in their genre. Their songs are both cathartic and captivating – and live, they unleash a special intensity, most recently impressively demonstrated during their performance at Hallenstadion alongside Parkway Drive. The special guests of the evening are also noteworthy: Silent Planet is a band known for their socially critical lyrics and progressive metalcore sounds. Varials delivers brutal hardcore with massive force, while Orthodox explores the boundaries between metalcore, hardcore, and sludge, adding extra heaviness. Contributors: The Amity Affliction
