Description

Thomas Strässle studied German studies, philosophy, and musicology in Zurich, Cambridge, and Paris, and simultaneously trained as a flutist. Today, he is a professor of literary studies at the University of Zurich and heads the transdisciplinary Y Institute at the Bern University of the Arts. Additionally, he is president of the Max Frisch Foundation at ETH Zurich, a critic at the SRF Literature Club, and a juror for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize.
