Description
The Literaturhaus is an important meeting place for writers and translators from the canton, who regularly meet in a small but dedicated group. Shaped by the trilingualism of the canton, the regulars' table offers a unique platform where creative ideas, thoughts, and current texts as well as challenges of everyday professional life are exchanged. The different linguistic backgrounds of the participants also lead to discussions about the influence of multilingualism on one's own writing. This regulars' table is much more than a professional exchange and reading of one's own texts – it is a place of community where the love of language and writing is nurtured in an atmosphere of appreciation and openness. Moreover, it is also a networking meeting. The trilingualism of the canton is experienced here not only as a challenge but as an enrichment that promotes creative exchange and literary diversity. The first two or three regulars' tables are organized by Flurina Badel and/or Martina Caluori. Afterwards, the organization of the evenings is passed on among the participants. Languages: German, Romansh, Italian 11.02., 01.04., 03.06., 02.09., 04.11., each from 7 to 9 pm Previous events: February 8
