Admission: 150 CZK / free for ZUŠ students. We thank the general partner of the event, Skupina ČEZ. The concert is co-organized by the Society of Friends of Music in Kadaň. The Kaprálová Quartet, together with the renowned Taťjana Medvecká, will pay tribute to Vítězslava Kaprálová, a composer and conductor who opened doors to concert stages for many other women. Fate allotted this exceptional interwar composer's life a tragically short span – just twenty-five years; nevertheless, she became famous throughout Europe, and shortly after her death, several significant publications about her life and work were released. We will delve into the essence of this remarkable woman and the period atmosphere in various corners of Europe not only through music but also through her rich correspondence – Letters Home, to Loves and Friends.
