Description

Admission: 700 CZK (Capacity is limited to 12 people.) Try out a classic graphic technique with graphic artist and painter Markéta Bábková. During the workshop, you will go through the entire process – from design to carving into a wooden matrix and hand-printing your own graphic sheet. This will result in a work of art or an original postcard that you can take home along with the wooden matrix. You will become familiar with traditional tools and methods based on historical graphic practices. There will also be ready-made matrices that the artist will bring for demonstration and testing. Artist Markéta Bábková, who will lead the workshop, has long been dedicated to graphic techniques and working with line. Join us on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Galerie Josefa Lieslera on Mírové náměstí. The workshop is open to beginners as well as more advanced participants. This is a public accompanying program for the exhibition 'Mezi námi', which runs from September 10 to November 1, 2026.
