During the TPO Tour 2026, the two pieces FELT RELATIONS by Simea Cavelti and Collective Rhythms of Pain by Lyn Bentschik will be presented as a double evening at three venues in Eastern Switzerland. Felt Relations explores the complex network of relationships between nature and humans. Influenced by the research phase in the mountains and the wool processing, the piece invites viewers to perceive infinity, rawness, and tenderness. Felting, an ancient, repetitive, and cross-cultural gesture, is choreographically examined as an original metaphor, visually and physically-sensually perceivable. The compression of wool becomes a condensation of history, place, knowledge, work, human and animal life — creating an atmosphere of interweaving. On stage, a resonance field emerges between body and wool, two relationship-based, soft, and resilient fabrics that navigate breathing with the interior and exterior space. Collective Rhythms of Pain immerses into the world of chronic pain experiences: What does a world feel like where pain states do not need to be hidden out of fear of pathologization? The project team explores this question through the synergy of artistic work, creative accessibility, and lived experience. The focus is on the expressive languages and rhythms of suffering bodies, which can be shared and felt, developing their own artistic and societal power. Thus, a Relaxed Performance with creative surtitles is created, inviting the audience to explore their own relationship with pain(s).
